The cathedral in Palma is referred to as La Seu (Seu or Seo is the name given to the Cathedrals in the kingdom of the Crown of Aragon). The Cathedral of Light was constructed between 1256 and 1601. The largest façade is the one facing the sea where one can find the Portal del Mirador. The builder and arquitect at the time of that portal’s creation (1594-1601) was Miquel Verger who was also the sculptor of the Mirador’s beautiful stone work shown here.
