The ‘Crist de la Sang’ Chapel

The Crist de la Sang chapel in Palma goes back to the 16th century. It houses the venerated statue of the Crist de la Sang, sculpted in cork oak, which is taken out once a year during Setmana Santa (Easter week) for a solemn procession. The photo was taken in Palma de Mallorca, Baleares, Spain. The date: February 20th, 2014.
